One Stop Digital Service Center capacity-building event was conducted to focus on the prevention and protection of human trafficking issues, the jurisdiction of the local level Union Counter- Trafficking Committee along with the roles and responsibilities of the relevant stakeholders. To aim to counter human trafficking this event was arranged by the implementing partners INCIDIN Bangladesh and TdH Nl supported by the US Department of State at Hazratpur, Keraniganj on 20 March 2023, #Kalindi Union Parishad, #Keraniganj, Dhaka. Chairman of Hazratpur Union Parishad as the Chief Guest and teachers of Hazratpur Model High School attended for the training session. Mr. Syed Shariful Haque, INCIDIN Bangladesh presided over the training session and discussed the online digital tools for reporting in the training. In his inaugural speech, he narrated the real time online responses from the INCIDIN team and success through the contribution of society. The topics covered in the training session were – definition of trafficking; how it takes place;. It was arranged by the implementing partners INCIDIN Bangladesh and TdH Nl supported by the US Department of State. How the tools works to prevent it; responsibilities of CTC; national hotlines; the services provided by the one stop digital service center; online reporting system and referral process; mental health and the importance of psycho-social counselling.
